First Windride
A bit of a shakedown. All systems go. Fluky winds, some strong, so a good challenge and lots of fun.

Later, after dump dumping, a little pier work, and final Heliotrope prep, relaxation on the pier end. Big wind coming over and down the bluff and slamming into the water making beautiful catspaws.

…bugs sprayed, windows washed. Quite the day.

Coming over to Kagawong Monday or Tuesday. She’s a great old boat, with everything working, just the way it should.

Two Warm For Work…

Back In Kagawong
Arrival yesterday. And now, hot and cold running water, a big fire in the stove, and, with cup of coffee in hand, looking out at fog, where there might well be a bay.
Easy move-in thanks to big help from Mark and LiseAnne.
The water level is up (2 vertical feet since March) but still a bit low. The front deck railing, which was removed by snow slide off the roof, is well on its way to repair.
Tulips and Flooding
Flood warning in Whitewater, roads, including Serendipity, washed out on Manitoulin. But tulips are blooming.
